 HEY, VEGANS – You care so much about animal rights, but what about the immigrants who pick your food? 
 That's a good point. Unfortunately, there are abuses in many areas of the food industry. As a vegan, I try to minimize the amount of cruelty I'm supporting as much as possible. Animal products are inherently cruel, whereas produce is only circumstantially cruel. Consuming plants directly reduces the amount of resources used as well as unfair labor practices supported, since crops are also cultivated to feed farmed animals, and there are human abuses within factory farms, slaughterhouses, and tanneries in addition to the required violence against nonhuman animals. It's also good to eat seasonally and support local growers when available. Food justice is very important and definitely has a place within the animal rights movement, and more vegans should become aware of that.
 BLAH BLAH, if you REALLY CARED, you'd care more about HUMAN BEINGS and eat a cheeseburger. HYPOCRITE. 
 But what about the immigrants working in the factory farms and slaughterho– 
 STOP PREACHING AT ME. VEGANS ARE SO JUDGMENTAL.

defy-conformity: My emotions are never constant anymore. I am no longer numb but i can never be simply content. I can stay happy for a few days at most but then i crash back down into the frame of mind in which i feel i am worthless and everything is pointless and no one gives a shit about me. I wish i could just… I feel exactly the same way.
